Amanda Koskamp

is a practicum student currently completing her Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University. She is currently a Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College or Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) Amanda is a Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with a Master’s Degree in Counselling Psychology. She believes that past struggles and traumas can impact lives individually and interpersonally. She desires to support others as they navigate through challenges and work with people to disrupt negative cycles and beliefs that may hold them back. She is passionate about working with young adults and adults struggling with depression, anxiety, stress, grief or relational challenges.  

Amanda is particularly interested in Attachment-based Theory and working with people from a client-based approach. She is also trained in Emotional Focused Individual Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Narrative Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. has a background in working with youth and young adults in mental health organizations.
